Resources for Educators
The Foundation donates copiers to schools and arranges for ongoing maintenance. In addition, we provide binding, copying, and laminating services for teachers. Here, Mr. Paul LeFevre and Mr. Danny Strachan present a copier to the Principal of L. N. Coakley High School.
The Exuma Foundation seeks to support education from kindergarten to tertiary level.
Our programs include:
Scholarships for qualified students from the local high school to The College of The Bahamas through funding provided by the Murray DeYoung Foundation. Field trips and extracurricular learning experiences are facilitated through the Foundation's transport and campus facilities. Workshops for teachers and students are provided at the Campus Auditorium. The Foundation houses Exuma's only school for exceptional learners.
